quote of the day:
"steve jobs, why won't you let me be free?"
- mike, after I told him the mix cd he made me won't play one-third of the tracks because they were bought on itunes.

you wouldn't believe the number of people i get into arguements with over this. it is one of my favorite things to bitch about, and almost everyone defends apple and says i-tunes is great. which it is, i think. but why won't they just let you convert songs to mp3's. i mean, a serial mix-tape-maker will just burn them to a cd and then rip them back off, accomplishing this, but wasting a cd. since it's so easy, why continue the farce? it is soviet, it is mind-control, it is ignoring the obvious, it is flying in the face of human nature, it is against capitalism. i mean, i bought the song; what else do you guys want?
Try this to crack the DRM on iTunes:
