5. order a martini made with their hand-distilled gin. get refused service for lack of proper i.d.
6. sulk.
7. go to the liquor store. buy a fifth of peach schnapps and a half pint of jack daniels. climb the steps to the top of parking garage across the street. gaze out over the foggy night in ann arbor, drinking and smoking cuban cigarillos. have a snowball fight with your partner (she's stronger than you might think and may throw you into a snowbank). pour some schnapps over the railing and watch it fall seven stories to the ground. consider calling brian, but realize that you left your cell phone at home. lament at that just a tiny bit, though overall be quite happy with how it all turned out.
