Heartbreak Tears Me

Ah, jeez. I was all prepared to give a full account of my first Colombian party, but I just got news that some dear friends of mine are splitting up after 10+ years together. My heart goes out to them, I can only imagine what they're going through right now. I just have that ache inside when someone you care about is hurting and there's nothing you can do to help.

and earlier today I was telling my dad about how great it was to hang out with them on new years.
