what I did over summer vacation

the water is blanketed with cool morning mist. we paddle the canoe quietly, not wanting to disturb the stillness of the air and the plate glass lake.
the mist swirls about the canoe as we push out into the middle to sit, take pictures, and contemplate.

sometimes you need to skip church to have a spirtual experience.
