things I learned/discovered in Chicago:

• the free section of craigslist. amazing. Noah wanted to get a Bengal cat off it, though he was vetoed by Mike. in the detroit section I discovered this entry, and some part of me thinks the person posted it with no irony.
• the secret ingredient in amazing pad thai is ketchup. I swear it.
• rooftop porches are cooler than anything you'll find in the suburbs.
• red bull allows you to dance until 4am.
• successive nights of 4 hours of sleep means that when you board the train to michigan you will sleep from union station to kalamazoo.
• flowers make everything more beautiful.
