while making a mix cd for a friend, I stumbled across the best segue EVER. the song "fight test" from the flaming lips (off yoshimi battles the pink robots) leading into "l'enfer des formes" by stereolab (off mars audiac quintet). The last few notes from "fight test" are the same as the initial chord progression in the stereolab song. fabulous, no? on the off chance that you have both of those cds, go listen now. do it. see? wasn't that so satisfyingly cool???
