they also mourn who do not wear black
it is with a heavy heart that I bid adieu to my dear friend evan's weblog, the endpoint of a minor axis. his site had a killer design (natch: he's a graphic designer by trade) and was exceedingly funny. some highlights:
- "how many repeated edits does it take to get banned from wikipedia?" the answer was 10. (cached link)
- the story of buying 12+ year old unopened bottles of crystal pepsi and drinking one of them.*
- and, the denouement, the apex, going out with a bang: the story of spider-man, with his 64 points of articulation, leaving evan and searching out the world with his companion and part-time lover, hellboy. Pictures were sent to document their shenanigans, one of which is seen below. (cached link)

fare the well, endpoint. May your text stay in google's cache for years to come. However, in death we see life reflected, and today is evan's birthday!! happy birthday evan!! may your crystal pepsi taste as sweet as the day it was made.
*I can't actually remember if he posted about this or just told me in person, but anyways it sounds like something he'd post about.
