binge & purge

I will take a second to give myself props--I had the best damn idea today. there was a big neighborhood garage sale going on this weekend which I chose not to take part in (at first). THEN I realized that all the traffic is perfect for another purpose: taking all the crap that I don't want and tossing it out on the grass with a big FREE sign. Shit went like hotcakes. I'd come back outside with more and people would take it before it even hit the ground. Ugly crap tupperware? gone. Old guinea pig cage? somebody is loving it anew. Awful faux-enlightenment books received for graduation? Now failing to inspire someone else.

I put it all out and went for a bike ride. When I came back, EVERYTHING was gone. genius, pure unadulterated genius.
